Moving WordPress is a pain…
Moving Drupal from one domain to another is MUCH simplier than doing it with WordPress. At least much easier than from WordPressμ
Although I did all that was recomended it didn’t work at all.
The site start giving back odd MySQL messages and nothing really worked. Had to revert to temporary address and recover database from backup (yep! I have one this time thanks to the folks at Dreamhost).
I think this is due to some plugin and the way it saves data.
Now I must fuss in the database to see what are the diffs between the new database and the current one.
Update
I’m going to test some of this advises to see if it goes smoothly
